Welcome back to White Rose of Avalon my Darlings. Today’s post is a poem that I wrote on the morning of the Spring Equinox a couple of days ago. It is my own exploration of how we feel nature expanding and growing around us in the lead-up to Spring blooming.
Blossoming Birdsong

Blossoming Birdsong
Cacophony of wings
Splaying through the air
The sound of Birds brings
The energy of the coming season to the forefront
Flights of fancy
Wafting the smell of budding wildflowers
Beautiful avian friends
Filling the sky above
Arising within my heart
The emotions of abounding love
In the days leading to Spring
Birdsongs in the world ring
A first cry of nature
That we are finally
Coming out of our collective deep rest
To put our plans to the test
As the Vernal Equinox affirms
Now is the time to begin to
Embrace the Blossoming of Plants
Embrace the Sweet Song of Birds
Embrace the new path we have set ourselves upon
During Winter’s deep rest
The time for slow planning is over
The time to enact our dreams has truly come
Thank the Birdsong for alerting us
To the Call for Our Action!
